The Bell XD7 ULTRA is a full-face racing helmet belonging to the Bell Advanced Series, a line developed for competitive drivers where weight and aerodynamic profile are central engineering priorities. It serves as the direct successor to the GTX3, carrying forward its proven architecture while incorporating updates aligned with current motorsport regulations.

The outer shell is formed entirely from high-grade carbon fibre, resulting in an exceptionally low overall weight without compromising structural integrity. The helmet carries FIA 8859-2024 homologation, one of the most demanding current standards for helmets used in FIA-regulated competition.

The gloss-lacquered carbon shell reveals the characteristic weave pattern of the fibre beneath. The profile tapers toward the rear, where an integrated rear spoiler forms a continuous part of the shell geometry rather than a separate attachment. A duckbill front spoiler beneath the visor aperture contributes to the aerodynamic balance. The chin section features exposed carbon texture that contrasts with the polished upper surfaces. Bell Helmets oval logos in white and red appear symmetrically on the forehead and sides, while the model designation "XD7 ULTRA" is marked in a subdued grey graphic on the chin area.

The SE07 visor series is fitted as standard at 3 mm thickness and secured by a Smartlock mechanism designed to prevent unintended opening under race conditions. Dedicated chin ventilation ports support airflow circulation inside the helmet. HANS device clips come factory-installed, meaning the helmet is ready for direct connection to a HANS system without any additional hardware at the circuit.

The XD7 ULTRA is intended for adult drivers competing in FIA-regulated events where FIA 8859-2024 certification is a formal entry requirement. The combination of carbon fibre construction, integrated aerodynamics and pre-fitted HANS clips addresses the practical demands of the competition cockpit.
