The Bell XR7 ULTRA is a full-face racing helmet from the Bell Advanced Series, developed as the successor to the well-regarded GP3 model. The outer shell is constructed entirely from carbon fibre, combining a low structural weight with the rigidity required in competitive motorsport.

The helmet carries FIA 8859-2024 homologation, one of the most demanding current certification standards for automotive racing helmets, applicable across a wide range of licensed series from circuit racing and GT championships to rally competition.

The shell surface features a pronounced diagonal carbon weave finished in high-gloss lacquer, with a consistent black colour across the dome, rear section and chin piece. Oval Bell Helmets logos with red lettering appear on the front and sides of the visor area, and the "XR7 ULTRA" designation is printed on the side wall. Metallic components - visor mounts, HANS clip hardware and ventilation elements - carry a silver or dark grey finish against the composite structure. A Bell logo with size designation is located at the lower rear of the helmet.

The visor is from the SE07 series, 3 mm thick, and secured by a Smartlock mechanism that locks the screen firmly in any chosen position. Aerodynamic performance is supported by a front duckbill spoiler and an integrated rear spoiler. Ventilation is handled through upper air intakes and dedicated chin-area vents.

HANS clips are factory-installed, providing an immediate, secure interface with a HANS head-and-neck restraint device without requiring separate fitting. The Bell XR7 ULTRA suits both professional competitors and licensed amateur drivers who need a current-homologation helmet at minimal weight.
