OMP Seat Mounting Frame for Ford
This OMP seat mounting frame is an adapter for fitting a sports seat in a Ford Mustang built between 1978 and 1998. It is supplied as a matched pair, with one left-hand and one right-hand element, and carries FIA homologation.
The set consists of two steel rails in raw, silver-toned metal with an L-shaped profile. Each rail carries two narrow uprights that taper towards the top, with a mounting hole at the tip. On one rail the uprights are bolted on from the inside; the other has a row of holes in its side wall, plus bolts and nuts, so the uprights can be set in several positions. The flat section of each rail has holes for fixing to the vehicle floor. The surface has no prints or logos.
The model-specific fit suits builders installing a bucket seat in a Mustang from this period, whether for a sports car project or a track build.
