The Sparco TIDE MY20 is a Nomex motorsport glove certified to FIA 8856-2018, covering fire protection requirements for competition use in FIA-regulated championships. The colourway pairs a black base with orange accents; the Sparco logo sits on the dorsal side of the hand.
The palm and inner finger surfaces are finished with 3D HTX material, a textured surface with a three-dimensional profile that maintains consistent tactile feedback through the steering wheel. Seams are routed to the outer side of the fingers, removing pressure build-up over long stints. The fingers are lightly pre-curved to follow the natural grip position on the wheel. The wrist closes via a hook-and-loop strap. The thumb and index fingertips carry touchscreen-compatible material, allowing electronic device use without removing the glove.
The TIDE MY20 is suited to circuit and rally drivers who require a current FIA fire-protection standard alongside practical features including integrated touchscreen compatibility.
