The OMP KS-2X is a purpose-built karting shoe designed for adult drivers competing at circuit level. It holds FIA 8877-2022 homologation, confirming compliance with the federation's current safety standards for karting equipment. The construction balances a precise, secure fit with practical details that reduce risk during on-track use.

Italian manufacturer OMP Racing has long supplied motorsport equipment to competitors across European karting circuits. The KS series is OMP's dedicated karting footwear line, and the KS-2X sits at the performance end of that range, intended for drivers racing under licensed competition regulations.

The shoe is finished in uniform black with graphite accents on the shaft and toe box. A diagonal embossed pattern runs along the outer side panel, above which the model designation "KS-2X" appears as a printed graphic featuring a multicolour "X" rendered in the colours of the Italian flag. The OMP logo is placed both on the side panel above the outsole line and on the collar of the shaft. A white compliance label at the hook-and-loop fastening indicates conformity with the FIA standard. The two-tone outsole - black with a graphite finish - is paired with a rear gusset that increases range of movement when working the pedals. The shaft extends above the ankle, and perforations near the tongue assist air circulation.

Ventilation is addressed through two complementary features: mesh inserts woven into the upper improve airflow around the foot, while laser-cut holes in the shaft create additional channels for heat dissipation during prolonged driving sessions. The ankle strap fastens inward, a deliberate design choice that keeps the closure away from exposed kart components and reduces the risk of snagging. The slim tongue and shaped collar contribute to a stable, locked-in fit across the foot. The OMP KS-2X is offered in six colour variants, allowing drivers to coordinate with team kit.
