OMP KS-2X Shoes (FIA) White-Red

The OMP KS-2X is a competition karting shoe for adult drivers operating under FIA regulations. It carries the FIA 8877-2022 certification, which authorises its use in karting events governed by the FIA. OMP, a specialist in motorsport safety equipment, places its logo on the lateral side and heel of the upper.

The upper is predominantly white, with black detailing across the toe cap, rear reinforcement and collar, and red accents throughout - red laces, a red heel insert and red graphic lines along the side panel. The "KS-2X" model designation and a grey OMP logotype appear on the sidewall, while a second, larger OMP logo is positioned on the toe area above the black toe zone. The collar is made from black mesh fabric. A compliance label for the FIA 8877 standard is visible on the tongue.

Construction combines a durable smooth-finish upper with mesh ventilation inserts and laser-cut perforations, both designed to reduce heat build-up around the foot during competition. The ankle closure uses a hook-and-loop strap oriented inward, reducing the risk of snagging on kart components. A rear bellows section at the back of the upper allows greater ankle articulation, while the two-tone sole is shaped to support precise, uninhibited pedal operation.

The KS-2X is intended for adult competition drivers whose series requires footwear with a valid FIA Karting homologation. The unisex cut is suitable for both male and female drivers. The model is available in six colour variants, with this white-red version being one option within the OMP Racing collection.
