OMP KS Elbow Protector
The OMP KS Elbow Protector is a protective piece of karting equipment designed to shield the elbow joint without restricting arm movement. The black close-fitting sleeve wraps securely around the elbow area, while its elasticated construction allows full freedom of motion during both competitive racing and training sessions.
OMP is an Italian motorsport equipment manufacturer with a long-standing presence in the karting segment through its KS line. The OMP KS Elbow Protector is part of that range - straightforward, functional protection suited to kart drivers at any skill level.
The protector is finished entirely in black. The upper section of the sleeve carries the OMP logo and KS series designation in white, with a second OMP label positioned directly above the protective insert at the centre of the elbow joint. The anatomically contoured foam pad is stitched into the outer layer with visible seams following its perimeter. Red adjustment clips on the upper part of the sleeve contrast against the black fabric and allow the sleeve length to be tailored to individual arm proportions.
The outer layer is made from lightweight, stretch Lycra fabric that conforms closely to the arm. The pre-shaped foam insert provides anatomical protection over the elbow zone, while internal silicone strips prevent the sleeve from shifting during driving. The red clips on the upper section enable precise length adjustment. The ambidextrous construction means a single unit fits both the left and right arm, making the protector a practical choice for adult and junior kart drivers alike.
