Bell XD7 Ultra Helmet (FIA)
The Bell XD7 Ultra is a closed racing helmet produced within the Bell Advanced Series - a line developed for competition drivers where weight savings and aerodynamic performance are primary considerations. The XD7 Ultra is the direct successor to the GTX3, incorporating constructive updates aligned with current FIA requirements.
The outer shell is manufactured entirely from high-quality carbon fibre, achieving a low overall weight while retaining the structural strength the application demands. The helmet holds the FIA 8859-2024 homologation, one of the most current and rigorous standards for helmets used in FIA-regulated competition.
The black carbon fibre shell is finished with a gloss lacquer through which the characteristic fibre weave remains clearly visible. The profile tapers towards the rear, with an integrated rear spoiler forming part of the shell structure rather than a separate attachment. Oval Bell Helmets logos in white and red are placed symmetrically across the front surface and sides. The model designation XD7 ULTRA appears on the chin section in a subdued gray finish. A duckbill front spoiler defines the lower edge of the visor aperture, while the raw carbon chin area provides a textural contrast against the gloss shell.
The SE07 visor series is fitted as standard with a 3 mm lens and Smartlock fastening for a secure hold during use. Ventilation openings in the chin area are designed to support air circulation inside the helmet. HANS device clips are factory-installed, making the helmet ready for direct connection without additional hardware. The XD7 Ultra is intended for adult drivers of both genders competing under FIA regulations.
