The Bell X-1 SPORT RALLY is a full-face competition helmet from the Sport series, built specifically for off-road rally events. Its shell is moulded from fibreglass, combining solid mechanical resistance with a relatively controlled weight. The helmet holds FIA 8859-2024 homologation - the current certification required to compete in FIA-regulated off-road disciplines - and is intended for adult drivers in a unisex fitment.

The outer shell carries a uniform metallic silver-grey finish, present across the entire crown and chin guard. The Bell Helmets logo appears on the top of the crown as a white oval badge with red lettering, and an identical badge is repeated at the rear below two exhaust vents. A black sun visor is bolted to each side with marked Bell fasteners; its short, horizontal profile is characteristic of off-road helmet design. The chin guard features cross-pattern mesh ventilation openings. At temple level on both sides, the metallic connectors of the ZeroNoise intercom system are visible.

Ventilation is handled by frontal intake ports fitted with a dust filter - a practical feature for stages run on gravel, sand or dirt - alongside the rear exhaust vents on the crown and the openings in the chin guard. The goggle aperture is wide, framed with a black sealing surround, accommodating standard off-road goggles without modification.

The ZeroNoise intercom is factory-integrated and compatible with Nexus-plug control units, meaning no additional wiring or mounting work is required before a rally start. HANS-compatible clips come pre-installed by the manufacturer, allowing immediate connection to a head restraint collar without aftermarket modifications. Both features make the X-1 SPORT RALLY a ready-to-race package for off-road competitors whose series mandate FIA 8859-2024 compliance. A size label (59 MED) is affixed to the rear of the shell.
