The OMP EcoLifePlus is a hand-held extinguisher designed for permanent fitting inside a car. Its aluminium cylinder holds 2.4 l of EcoLifePlus foam, which forms a layer over flammable liquids and hinders re-ignition. The manufacturer states compliance with FIA Appendix J in its technical data.

The cylinder measures 130 mm in diameter and 300 mm in length, while the overall length including nozzle and handle is 390 mm, a figure useful when planning the mounting position in the cabin. The complete, filled unit weighs approximately 4 kg ±5%. A mounting kit is part of the package: aluminium brackets with quick-release stainless steel clamps (CD0-0356), so the extinguisher sits securely in place yet can be removed quickly by the driver or co-driver.

Visually, the cylinder has a bright silver finish with a metallic aluminium sheen. A black label around its middle carries the yellow OMP logo, pictograms showing the operating steps and fields for marking the production date and the mandatory service date. The head is fitted with a round pressure gauge with a colour-coded scale, allowing the pressure to be checked without taking the unit out of its brackets. A safety pin with a metal ring locks the lever, the upper arm of which has a black finger cover, and two straps with lever latches hold the cylinder in brackets embossed with the OMP logo.
