OMP Seat Mounting Frame for Honda
This steel seat mounting frame from OMP is made for the Honda Civic V-TEC R-Type 3 doors, model years from 01 to 06. It allows a sports seat to be fitted on dedicated brackets instead of home-made mounts. The product data lists FIA homologation.
The set consists of two raw-metal brackets. Each has a long angled base rail with a row of mounting holes and two upright posts that narrow towards the top, with a bolt hole at the tip of each post for fixing the seat. On one bracket the posts are bolted to the inner side of the angle section. On the other, the posts carry several adjustment holes with bolts and nuts, so the height or position of the fixing points can be set. There are no prints or logos on the parts.
The frame suits drivers fitting a bucket seat in a Civic V-TEC R-Type for rally, circuit racing or track days. Pre-drilled holes shorten installation time in the car, and the steel construction gives the seat a rigid base.
