The Alpinestars Atom race suit carries FIA 8856-2018 homologation, meeting the certification requirements for circuit competition use. It is available in black, with the Alpinestars logo positioned on the chest and shoulders.
The two-layer fire-resistant construction uses material weighing 420 g/m². Stretch panels placed at key points of movement support a full driving range of motion. Flat seams throughout the suit reduce pressure points, which is a relevant consideration for drivers using HANS devices.
A front zipper and a hook-and-loop collar fastening allow the suit to be put on and adjusted. The Atom provides FIA-certified thermal protection in a practical, well-fitted design.
