The OMP STAR-J is an open-face helmet in bright yellow, built with an ABS shell and holding ECE 22.05 homologation for road and track use. Soft interior padding and removable cheek pads allow regular maintenance. The chin strap is black with a standard buckle. The interior lining is black.
A built-in intercom system, model JA/854, is integrated into the helmet and is compatible with the OMP B-RACE intercom unit. A flexible boom microphone and connection socket are part of the internal build, supporting communication with co-drivers or team during events and practice.
