ZeroNoise Brave Intercom Amplifier with Nexus Socket
The ZeroNoise Brave is a rally intercom unit that links driver and co-driver on a single communication line. It is supplied as a ready-to-fit set with cables, Nexus-standard connectors and mounting hardware, and it is compatible with Sparco helmets.
The analogue circuit includes an advanced noise-reduction filter intended to keep speech intelligible in a loud cabin. Two separate volume knobs are fitted, one for the driver on the left and one for the co-driver on the right, with the power button below them. Power comes from either a 9V battery or a 12V vehicle battery connection. The cables are 2 m long, and one of them ends in bare wires for the power feed.
The housing has a red rubberised cover with rounded corners. The black front has a carbon-fibre-style texture, a red and white graphic and a logo. Black metal mounting brackets with holes extend from the sides, and a flat black plate is fixed to the back with two screws. Cable connectors carry red and green marker stickers.
An RCA output socket allows audio to be passed to a camera. Two black cable ties are included for routing the leads. As motorsport equipment for crews using Sparco helmets, it offers separate level control for each seat and sound capture for onboard footage.
