Alpinestars Race V3 Balaclava White (FIA)
The Alpinestars Race V3 is a white balaclava worn under the helmet by rally and circuit drivers, made to the FIA 8856-2018 standard. The manufacturer positions it as the top balaclava in its range. The parameters also list SFI 3.3, and the manufacturer code 4757224-20-S/M indicates size S/M.
The knit is smooth, thin and elastic, with flat seams and neatly finished edges. The fabric is listed as modal, while the description points to Lenzing FR® fibre. A small opening near the mouth lets a hydration tube pass through. The longer lower section tucks into the race suit, and a white homologation label with black print and the brand name is sewn onto the front.
Black Alpinestars star logos appear on the forehead and, in a smaller size, on the cheek. The oval face opening leaves the eyes and nose area uncovered. Intended for adult competitors in rally, circuit and karting events where FIA-homologated underwear is required, this piece suits both drivers and motorsport enthusiasts.
