The Recaro AXION 1 Gallant Grey is a forward-facing child seat rated for children weighing 15-36 kg, covering the approximate age range of 3 to 12 years. Where other variants in the AXION 1 range opt for vivid colour, Gallant Grey takes a measured approach: dark grey upholstery, black structural panels, and silver geometric inserts form a palette that reads as composed rather than subdued.

The perforated dark grey fabric covering the seat and headrest carries Hohenstein OEKO-TEX® certification, confirming skin compatibility and resistance to chafing. Silver geometric trims accent the side wings against the black plastic shell. The adjustable headrest integrates memory foam to support the neck and can be repositioned as the child grows. The seat is designed and manufactured in Germany.

The AXION 1 holds ECE R129 approval and installs via ISOFIX. A trapezoidal shell profile combined with an internal cellular structure manages lateral impact forces across the seat body. Ventilation openings at the rear of the shell maintain airflow during extended journeys.
