The OMP ONE EVO FX MY26 is a competition-grade driving glove built around the current FIA 8856-2018 homologation standard. Designed for drivers who need precise steering feel and a secure hand position over long special stages or extended circuit sessions, the model reflects OMP's focus on functional safety equipment rather than off-the-shelf sportswear.

The glove is finished throughout in a solid black colourway. The dorsal surface features a pronounced honeycomb-weave fabric that promotes airflow, with a white OMP logo and a contrasting red accent placed centrally on the back of the hand. Anthracite decorative lines run vertically along the lower section of the back panel, and an FIA homologation tag identifying the 8856-2018 standard is stitched into the cuff.

The palm carries a dark silicone coating arranged in a directional pattern tailored for steering-wheel contact. Seam placement is deliberate: seams on the back of the hand are routed externally, while the thumb seam is positioned internally, both choices reducing interference with steering controls and paddle shifters.

The pre-curved cut is central to the design - the anatomical shape keeps the hand in a natural driving position and eliminates the ballooning that can occur with flat-cut gloves under load. The cuff features a silicone print, a diagonal wrist cut and an elasticated finishing band that together secure the glove without restricting movement.
