The OMP One Evo FX MY26 carries FIA 8856-2018 homologation, making it eligible for competition wherever that standard is required - from rally stages to circuit racing. The precurved construction shapes the glove around the natural resting position of the hand, reducing the ballooning effect that causes driver fatigue during extended stints behind the wheel.
The outer fabric uses a honeycomb-pattern weave that promotes air circulation across the back of the hand, while silicone grip zones on the palm are positioned for directional contact with the steering wheel rim. Seam placement follows a deliberate logic: external stitching on the back of the hand and internal stitching on the thumb minimise material thickness at points where tactile feedback from steering wheel controls matters most.
