The OMP KS-2X is a junior karting shoe carrying FIA 8877-2022 homologation, making it eligible for competitive use wherever certified footwear is required by the regulations. OMP developed this model specifically for younger drivers, combining the ergonomic requirements of growing feet with the safety standards demanded at club and federation level events.

The upper is constructed from a durable smooth material complemented by mesh inserts that promote airflow around the foot. Laser-cut perforations in the upper further assist ventilation and help maintain thermal comfort during extended sessions on track. The ankle strap uses a hook-and-loop closure directed inward, a design choice that minimises the chance of the fastening catching on pedals or other cockpit elements.

The two-tone sole incorporates a rear bellows section, giving the foot greater freedom of movement - particularly relevant for the precise throttle and brake inputs required in karting. A slim tongue and shaped collar work together to keep the shoe securely positioned on the foot throughout a session.

This black and red colourway features a deep black upper with red laces, a red ankle insert carrying the OMP logo in white, and matching red linear graphic details along the sides. The same OMP branding appears on the toe cap. The model designation KS-2X is printed on the side in a grey-red finish. A silver label near the collar confirms compliance with the applicable homologation standard. The outsole is finished in black and red, with a red edge delineating the outer layer from the sidewall. The collar and tongue are lined with a soft dark grey fabric.

Available in six colour combinations, the KS-2X is a unisex model suited to both boys and girls competing in entry-level and federally regulated karting series. The range of available colours allows the shoe to be coordinated with a driver's suit or helmet.
