The Bell R7 Sport is a full-face racing helmet from the Bell Sport Series, built around a composite fibreglass shell whose geometry is derived from the XR7 Ultra - one of the top-tier models in Bell's competition catalogue. The helmet carries current FIA 8859-2024 homologation, making it eligible for use in rally, circuit racing and any other FIA-regulated event that requires this certification. The R7 Sport is sized for adult drivers and is available in the standard Bell multi-size range.
The shell is finished in uniform matte black across its entire surface. Bell logos appear in an oval white-and-red frame at the forehead, at both visor mechanism housings and at the rear. "R7 Sport" lettering in matching white-and-red colours is applied to both sides of the helmet.
The visor mechanism housings on each side are constructed from dark composite material, with silver and red locking elements clearly visible. Factory-fitted HANS clips are positioned at multiple anchor points on the upper shell, ready to accept a HANS collar without any additional preparation. The rear of the shell is rounded and smooth, with two elongated air outlets flanking a centrally placed Bell logo. A narrow dark spoiler runs along the lower circumference of the shell, and symmetric metal mounting screws are visible at the rear.
Airflow management is handled by upper air intakes and dedicated vents in the chin zone, supporting internal air circulation during use. A front duckbill spoiler contributes to aerodynamic stability at speed, complemented by an integrated rear spoiler. The SE07 series visor is 3 mm thick and secured by a Smartlock mechanism that holds it firmly in the closed position.
