Stilo ST6 CMR Carbon Lite Helmet (CMR)
The Stilo ST6 CMR Carbon Lite is a full-face karting helmet built around a P-Matrix reinforced carbon fibre shell. The P-Matrix construction combines high structural rigidity with a noticeably reduced overall mass compared to the previous generation of Stilo karting helmets - starting at 1050 g in size XS (53-56 cm) and 1120 g in size S (57-59 cm). The helmet carries CMR 2016 homologation, the certification specific to competitors under 15 years of age, making it eligible for junior and mini karting classes governed by CMR regulations.
This generation of the ST6 CMR introduces a redesigned chin section with an improved airflow arrangement, new-generation cheek pads that enhance both comfort and lateral stability under hard cornering, and a revised visor mounting system. The dual-layer transparent visor measures 3 mm in thickness and features an extended downward field of view, secured by a positive snap-lock mechanism along the lower centre edge. A grey visor frame houses the latch, while mesh ventilation inserts at the chin complement the overall airflow design.
The outer shell presents an exposed carbon fibre weave across the entire surface - crown, sides and chin - giving the helmet a characteristic dark graphite finish with a subtle lustre. The Stilo logo appears on the forehead in white and red. Silver visor mount hardware sits on either side, and a red accent stripe runs along the chin section marking the model designation. Drivers using intercom systems will find the helmet prepared for compatibility with such equipment.
The ST6 CMR Carbon Lite is designed for young competitors entering CMR-regulated karting events. The lightweight carbon shell reduces neck load during sustained high-speed running, while the updated cheek pad system keeps the helmet firmly in position through rapid directional changes. Two size ranges - XS (53-56 cm) and S (57-59 cm) - cover the head circumferences typical for junior karting competitors.
