XD Design Urban Flap-top Backpack
The Urban Flap-top from XD Design is an anti-theft backpack made for everyday carrying. It is finished entirely in black, with a smooth, matt surface in soft-touch PU. The material is a blend of rPET and polyurethane and is water-resistant, as is the zip, which has a self-locking metal puller.
Capacity is adjustable: extending the top flap takes the volume from 18 L to 23 L, a gain of 5 litres. Empty weight is 0.73 kg (730 g). Dimensions are 43/60 x 30 x 12 cm with the flap extended.
The tall body has a roll-top flap fastened with a black strap and plastic buckle, and a magnetic closure on the flap. A vertical brand logo sits low on the front, with a thin light reflective stripe beneath it. A carry handle is fitted on top, and the wide shoulder straps have a mesh lining. The back panel is breathable mesh, with a second logo on one strap.
Inside, a compartment takes a laptop up to 16'' alongside additional pockets. Further storage includes a hidden pocket for a tracker and a discreet rear pocket for small items. An L-shaped opening gives wide access to the main compartment, the side pocket holds a water bottle, and a holder keeps sunglasses secure. A luggage strap lets the bag slide over a trolley handle on trips.
