Sparco Ice X-Cool Short Socks White (FIA)
The Sparco Ice X-Cool short socks carry FIA 8856-2000 homologation, qualifying as certified base layer for use in motorsport footwear at FIA-sanctioned events. The white ankle-length design comes from Sparco, the Italian manufacturer of motorsport safety apparel.
The X-Cool process is a chemical finish applied to the fabric that responds to friction and body movement by releasing a compound containing menthol and silver ions. This delivers a cooling sensation and antibacterial properties throughout use - a relevant feature for drivers wearing closed footwear over long stints.
These socks are a component of the compliant undergarment kit required in rally and circuit racing disciplines subject to FIA clothing regulations.
