Sparco 6-Pole Battery Master Switch
This Sparco battery master switch cuts the main electrical circuit of a vehicle in a single move. It is intended for rally cars, track cars and machines built for competition, and works as a simple mechanical device: once the rotary key is pulled out, the circuit stays disconnected.
The housing is made of black plastic, with a round base drilled for mounting holes so it can be screwed to a panel or a body wall. At the rear are flat terminals and brass connection screws supplied with nuts and washers. At the front sits a black cylindrical key socket surrounded by a rubber seal, while a black rubber threaded cover is attached by a strap. The red key has a grooved, non-slip grip with a hole for hanging.
The switch has 6 poles, so several circuits can be separated at once. According to the manufacturer's reference data, the maximum current is up to 100 A, and the unit works with 6, 12 and 24 V electrical systems. The design also provides for remote operation.
Typical uses include cars being prepared for rallies, races and track events, as well as workshops wiring a car from scratch, where power needs to be easy to cut off during servicing or in an emergency. This motorsport equipment from Sparco comes in a single one-size variant.
