The OMP KS-2X is a certified karting shoe built to meet the demands of adult competitive drivers. It carries current FIA 8877-2022 homologation, satisfying the safety requirements of organised karting competition. OMP developed the KS-2X specifically for the conditions found inside a kart cockpit, where a slim upper profile supports free ankle articulation throughout extended stints at the pedals.

The black base of the upper is complemented by yellow-green contrasting elements - laces, lateral seam inserts, and the KS-2X model graphic. The OMP logo appears on both the side panel and the toe area, while a diagonal yellow-green graphic decorates the front face of the upper. A silver homologation tag is placed at the collar. The dual-tone black-yellow sole reinforces the overall colour scheme.

Ventilation is addressed through two complementary features: mesh fabric inserts woven into the upper allow passive air circulation, and laser-cut perforations across the shell direct airflow around the foot during use. The inward-facing hook-and-loop ankle strap keeps the closure oriented toward the centre of the boot, reducing the chance of snagging on kart components. A slim tongue and collar construction supports a secure, even fit without pressure points, while the rear bellows and flexible dual-tone sole preserve the range of motion needed for precise pedal modulation.

The OMP KS-2X is sized for adult drivers and offered in a unisex cut across multiple sizes. Six colour variants are available, making it straightforward to coordinate the shoe with a matching suit or helmet within a team or personal colour scheme. This model suits both licensed competitors in regulated championships and club-level drivers whose series requires current FIA Karting certification.
